George L. VEAZIE
42
George's marriage to Sarah is by inference. Ralph King Veazie's World War II draft registration card states Ralph was born in Limington, Maine, 5 Jun 1885. An examination of the census records for York County in 1880 and 1900 would seem to indicate that George is the likely candidate for Ralph's father. George's brother Herbert was apparently never married; other possible Veazie's in the area are still alive in 1900; Sarah is listed as a widow in 1900.
Sarah is a widow in 1900. She may be the Sarah Veazie, age 53, a widowed housekeeper in the household of Richard Grant in Saco, 1910.

George may have died in 1900. Although his mother is listed in 1900 as the mother of 3, 2 still living, he doesn't seem to appear in the census records and his probable wife, Sarah, is a widow. In 1910, his mother is listed as the mother of 3, only 1 (Herbert) still living.
