Bernard's parents are named on his death certificate. He may be the son, age 7, of Thomas and Margaret Healy in Candor, NY, in 1870.
Forrest's full name appears on his World War I draft registration card with a birth date of September 20, 1898. His age in June of 1900 is given as Sep 1899. At the time of his draft registration, he was working for his father as a collector at the Joplin Globe. In 1920 and 1930, his occupation was as a news salesman.

Nettie died at "T. H. Hospital" of pulmonary tuberculosis. T. H. Hospital may be either Tuberculosis Hospital or Trinity Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, north of Joplin.

From no later than 1910 to Nettie's death in 1934, the family resided at 116 Pearl in Joplin.
Bernard died at home of "valvular heart disease."
