Alanson was apparently a very successful farmer as his property value in 1850¹²³¹ is listed as $8500; in 1860¹²³², $15000; and in 1870¹²³³, $17710.

Moffat⁶⁵⁵ has Annie's middle initial "R." Her middle name is given in her baptism record.

Child 9. Carrie (m196)

Moffat⁶⁵⁵ has Carrie's middle initial "L." Her middle name is given in her baptism record. In 1880⁸⁹⁰, Carrie Bookstaver, age 23, is listed a daughter in the household of Marcus (age 35) and Mary (age 32) Bookstaver. It is surmised that that is an enumeration error and Carrie is Marcus' sister. In 1900¹²⁶⁷, Caroline is listed as "sister" in the household of William Bookstaver. "Caroline L Bookstaver" with birth and death dates as herein recorded appears⁸⁴⁰ on a BOOKSTAVER monument below MARY LOWE, wife of Marcus B Bookstaver.
