Family of Abraham Fort WESTERVELT and Hannah LAWSON

Married1327 1823 Jan 81327.

Abraham Fort WESTERVELT b. 1801 Jun 28 at Poughkeepsie, New York. d. 1871 Nov 18.

The family listed below is according to a Westervelt genealogy1327. However, as that genealogy provides no references, further corroboration is difficult. In fact, the 1850 census1313 for New York has listings for Peter, John and Elisa with birth years close to what is given here. However, it appears (relationships were not enumerated in 1850) in that record (enumerated 27 Aug 1850) that Peter (age 24), John (age 20) and Eliza (age 20 or 22?), as well as several other children, are the children of Casper (age 52) and Sarah (age 47) Westervelt.
