In 18601374 and 18701375, before his father's death, Marcus lived with his parents. In 18751377, Marcus graduated from the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. In 18801379, Marcus and his mother are living in Jersey Shore, PA, near Williamsport. About 1884, Marcus married Anna, her maiden name is, at this time (2011) unknown. From 1900 until his death1378 in 1916, Marcus lived in Philadelphia.
There may be a connection between Marcus, or perhaps Anna, and the Williamsport area as "Dr. and Mrs. M. B. Dwight, of Philadelphia" attended the wedding1382 of Marion Ethel Brownell and Laurence Page Maynard in Williamsport about 1911 or 1912.
Marcus' obituary1378 states he died a widower.
