The obituary¹¹⁷⁹ for Ida's sister Maude states that Maude is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ida Gilbertson of Hornell and two nephews, M Stanley Mace (Hornell) and Edward G Mace (Buffalo). It would then appear that Ida married first about 1904, --- Mace, as the 1930 census for Charles and Ida Gilbertson, age 46, lists Ida as marrying first at the age of 20 (about 1904). The obituary for Ida's borther Harry mentions that he was survived by three sisters, among them "Mrs. Ida Mace." Her marriage date to (unkn) Mace is estimated from son M. Stanley Mace's birthyear.
