Samuel Jones Veazie lived with his parents in 1850 and 1860. In Aug, 1863, he registered for the Civil War draft³²⁹⁰: residence Bangor, age 24, occupation: "Gentleman," single, born Maine.

Samuel died of "cerebral appoplexy" in Bangor⁸⁰², married. His birth date is calculated from his age of death (55y 8m 1d) in that record.

Emma is listed³¹⁴⁹ in the Michigan death certificate index, mother of Alfred Wyman Veazie, as Emmaline Jane Wyman. Emma may be the Emma J Wimon/Wyman who appears as (likely) the daughter of Jane Wyman in Lincolnville, ME, in the 1860 and 1870 censuses. Jane Wyman (the mother) is a wdiow in 1860. Also listed in that 1860 census is (likely) a son (brother to Emma) Francis C Wyman, age 6. In 1900 and 1910, Emma and son Alfred Veazie ("Emerline" in 1910) resided²²⁴ in Bangor, ME. As late as 1912, Emma J Veazie, widow of Samuel J., is listed⁵¹⁵ in the Bangor City Directory.
