Bill's obituary1729 lists his wife (and maiden name), daughter Beth Lambright, and sons Bill and Bob. Wildes was a graduate4324 of Montana State college, and studied four years in the graduate school of Business Administration at New York University.
Following his marriage to Helene in White Plains, NY, they moved to Westport, NY, where he and Helene were active in civic activities.
In 1956, Wildes and his family moved4324 to Westport, CT. In 1965, Wildes petitioned for and was elected to a seat on the Representative Town Meeting (RTM). He resigned from that position to fill a vacancy on the Board of Finance. In 1967, he sought elective town office on the Republican ticket4324. The biography accounting the announcement of the Republican ticket provides details about Wildes and his family. That 1967 article mentions that he was assistant vice president and manager of the New York office of the Crocker-Citizens bank of San Francisco (CA). He specialized in the purchase and sale of municipal securities and government issues, and he was a member of the Board of Governors of the Money Marketeers of New York University.
In 1968, Bill was promoted from assistant VP to vice president of Crocker-Citizens New York office for investment. In 1970, the family moved to Flintridge, CA, when he became Division Manager for Crocker Bank. Bill retired in 1981, and he and Helene moved to Arizona, where he continued consulting in finance.
Helene died at the age of 88. She studied French at Laval University in Quebec, Canada and graduated from Stanford. After her marriage to Bill Veazie in White Plains, NY, they moved to Wesport, NY, where they raised their children.
