Sarah and William were married by Rev. P. Whitney.

In 1865, William and Sarah resided²⁹⁵⁴ in the household of Edward and Emeline Adams. That census conveniently provides William's birthplace.

William was a boot maker. William, a widower, died³²⁷¹ of old age and "La Grippe" at the age of 83y 3m 9d. His birth date is estimated from his age at death. That record lists his mother's name as "Beulah."

Sarah A (Veazie) Ellison died²²⁷¹ of paralysis and arteriosclerosis at the age of 71.
