Asa Rideout died855 in South Scituate, MA, of paralysis at the age of 72y 2 months. He was married and a farmer, the son of Joseph and Rhoda Rideout, both born in New Hampshire.
In 1850, Asa, Sarah and Eliza Rideout resided4522 in Dorchester, MA. Asa was a teamster. In 1870, Asa, a trader, and Sarah resided559 in Boston, with a large number of boarders. Among them: Ferdinand, Eliza A, and Charles Berry; and Warren, Lavina and Sarah E Veazie.
Sarah was baptised989 at the West Church of Boston, Jul 7, 1816. That record lists her birthdate and her parents as "George Veazie & wife." Sarah, the widow of Asa Rideout, died1774 at the age of 91y 10m 6d of senile dementia and exhaustion. The informant for her death certificate information was "C A Berry" of Norwell.
