Sprague841 has Charles' second wife as Eugenia O Sheppard. She appears in the 1870 census4904 and her death record2226 as "Algenia," father's name "Shepard." Algenia O Veazie, wife of Charles L, address 24 Winslow, died2226 Jan 31, 1876, at the age of 42y 3m 3d of "phthisis." Her birth date is calculated from that information.

North America, Family Histories, 1500-2000, www.ancestry.com (no references), has Henry Hunter Craft, born in West Virginia, Apr 3, 1826; married Algenia O Shepard, daughter of Truman Shepard, born Perrsburgh, NY, Sep 27, 1833. Henry and Algenia divorced in 1862; she married 2) Charles Veazie of Boston and died Jan 31, 1876. That author perhaps used the same sources referenced here, though Algenia's age at death indicates a birth date of October.28.
