Thomas' birth record⁵⁹¹ lists both Mar 20 and Mar 22 as birthdate.

Thomas' marriage record lists age (33) at time of marriage, birthplace and parents' names. At that time he was a stablekeeper in Weymouth, as he was similarly listed in the birth records for several of his children.

In 1855, Thomas' occupation is listed⁴²³⁰ as "(invalid)." In 1860, he was a clerk. Thomas' death record⁸⁵⁵ lists him as a livery keeper.

"Mary Shaply," daughter of Frederick and Ann, was baptized⁹⁴⁴ Mar 7, 1827. Her birthdate is calculated from her age at death⁸⁵⁵: 45y 4m. Quincy death records³²⁷² has middle name "Shapleigh."
