Alexander's birthdate is a guess, based on Catherine Veazie's birthdate. Following Catherine's untimely death, Alexander married second in Boston Mar 21, 1841, Jerusha (French) Wise, dau of Nathaniel and Susanna French, her second marriage. She married 1815 James Wise of Boston. Alexander and Jerusha had a child and lived in Boston in 1850 and 1870.

He may be the Alexander Hopkins who died Boston, Jan 19, 1872, son of Alexander and Hannah Hopkins, though in that record he died a widower - Jersuha Hopkins died 1879.
