The 1900 census⁹³⁹ has Winchester's birthdate as Aug 1849. Winchester joined¹¹⁴⁸ the Masonic Lodge (Massachusetts) in 1909. His registration lists his nativity as 1848-8-19 born Boston, and his deathdate as 1925-12-1.

From sometime after 1900 until before 1940, Martha was a patient at the Worcester State Hospital in Worcester, MA. Wikipedia lists Worcester State Hospital as a facility for the mentally ill. In the 1940 census¹⁸⁰⁶ Martha is living with her daughter Winifred in the household of Winifred's husband Ralph L Rounseville. In 1930¹⁸⁰⁹ and 1940¹⁸⁰⁶ Mary is listed as a widower.
