His obituary mentions surviving wife Catherine Harney, sons William H of Buffalo, NY; John E of Portsmouth, VA; Robert B Veazie, North Adams; daughters Elizabeth E Veazie of Buffalo; Mrs Helen Roberts of North Adams; brother Clifford Veazie and sister Mrs May Bean, both of North Adams. He was buried in Southview Cemetery.
