Married³³⁶ 1883 Mar 12 at Hampden, ME. Bangor Daily Whig & Courier, Wed, Mar 14, 1883; issue 63: "MARRIED. In Hampden, March 12th, by Rev. J. Durgan, Mr Charles F. Veazie of Bangor and Miss Emma Mansel of Hermon."

Charles' middle name is taken from the birth record⁴⁰⁵ for Lillian Estella Veazie, born in Hermon, Penobscot Co., b. June 25, 1888, fath: Chas Freeman Veazie, moth: Emma M.

In 1880, Charles Veazie is living with his brother-in-law John Dugan and sister Inez (Veazie) Dugan. Per the 1900 census, Charles married Mary Emma about 1883. In 1910, Charles' brother Virgil, widower, lives alone next door. In 1920, Willis F Sawyer, grandson, daughter Emily's son, is listed in Charles and Emma's household.

Mary Emma's maiden name and birthplace are listed in the birth record⁴⁰⁵ of her daughter "Nellie B., Exeter, Penobscot Co., b. Oct 18, 1885, fath: Chas Veazie b. Corrinna(sic), moth: Emma Mansel b. Hermon, Me."

Mary is probably the Mary E Mansel, age 7, boarding with Obediah and Mary A Banks in 1870. In 1880, Mary E Mansel, age 17, granddaughter, is living with Mary A Banks, widow. One of Obediah and Mary's daughters is Mary Mansel's mother. Mary Mansel may be the daughter of Morrill and Eunice A Mansell, enumerated in 1860 in Hermon, ME. Eunice may be Augusta Banks, daughter of Obediah and Mary Banks. In 1860, Augusta Banks, daughter of Obediah and Mary Banks, who would've been 21 years old, doesn't appear in the census. Morrill Mansell (age 31) and Eunice (age 21) have a 2-year-old son George. Morrill, resident of Hermon, ME, enlisted in the Union army (Co. H, 31st Inf Reg Maine) in Apr 1864 and was killed at Bethesda Church, VA, in Jun of that year. In 1870, Eunice doesn't seem to appear in the census and George is boarding with Charles Mansell, probably Morrill's brother. The possibility exists that Mary Emma was born in 1863 to Morrill and Eunice; Morrill was killed in 1864 and Eunice died or otherwise disappeared from the scene before 1870.

Addie may have died young as she doesn't seem to otherwise appear in records.
