Ulysses and Mabel were married by Rev E V B Edgerly of Corinna. The intention was filed Dec 10, 1896.

Ulysses Veazie was a farmer by occupation, as indicated in census records.

Although the obituary⁴³²⁹ for Mabel Veazie states she was born in Lowell, MA, that appears to be in error. That obituary mentions a surviving brother, Havelock Hammond. The 1900 census for Lowell, MA, lists the family of Charles S and Mary Hammond. Charles Hammond immigrated in 1881, presumably emigrating from Canada, his birthplace. Further, Havelock Hammond, their son, is listed a born in 1880 in Canada. As Mabel was born in 1876, it's presumed she was also born in Canada, as indicated in the 1900 and 1930 censuses.

Walter died of premature birth at the age of one and a half days.
