Florence M VESEY b. 1881 Jan 27²¹³² at Perry, OH²¹³². d. 1969 Jul⁹² at Gentry, Arkansas⁹².

Married¹⁷²⁸ 1908 Jul 8¹⁷²⁸ at Mayville, NY¹⁷²⁸.

Florence and Archie were married by Benj A Ginader, clergyman. Witnesses: Maude Pinney, David Landers. Mayville, NY, is just a few miles from the Ohio-New York border near Erie, Ohio.

Archie married his cousin. I.e., Florence's mother Marion was the sister of Archie's father. Archie spent his life farming.

Apparently, after her daughter Florence's marriage to the much older Elton Skinner, she moved with her daughter and daughter's husband to Arkansas, as that is where she died⁹² and Elton Skinner is buried⁸⁴⁰.

Florence Vesey should not be confused with the Florence L Vesy who married⁸³⁷ Dan Burr, Jun 30, 1914, in Lake Co., OH. An obituary for Mrs Edgar C Vesy appearing in the Piqua (OH) Daily Call, Mar 24, 1937, mentions a surviving daughter "Mrs Dan Burr (Florence)" of Piqua. The parents of that Florence Vesy were Edgar C Vesy and Ida Downs ("Bowns" in the article).
