Theodore, age 2, was living with his parents in 1860. In 1870, he is living with his mother and his brother Alfred. In 1880, Theodore and Alice were living in the household of Alice's father, and he is listed as a physician, as he was in 1900 and 1910. His death certificate2433 lists his occupation as Doctor.
Hillman omits Alice from the family of Edwin and Angeline, though she and husband Theodore were living with Edwin, et al, in 1880. The informant for Alice's death certificate was her husband, Dr. Theo O Potter. That certificate lists her middle and maiden names, her parents' names, and the date and place of her burial.

Theodore died2188 of tuberculosis, complicated by cirrhosis of the liver, an unemployed barber. The informant2188 for his death certificate was "Mrs. Edith Potter."

Though this child's birth record lists March 30, 1889, as his birthyear, it's unlikely that is correct, as Leona's birthdate of August that year is more likely correct. The child's birth was recorded Aug 6, 1890, and a birthyear of 1890 seems more correct, possibly having died of premature birth, considering Leona's birthdate. This child did, however, die before 1900, in which year mother Alice is listed as the mother of 6, 4 living.
