In 1850, Jefferson and Frances were residing in the household of Arnold and Hannah Hayward. Jefferson was a carpenter. He died sometime before 1880, in which census wife Frances is listed as a widow.
In 1880, Frances, a widow, lived with her son William. In 1900, Frances lived with her brother William Veazie and her sister Mary E Veazie. In that census, Frances is listed as the mother of 4, 2 living. In 1912, Frances died1774 at the age of 81 of acute gastritis. Her death certificate1774 lists her mother as "Mary" Hardwick, born Quincy, but the name of the informant for that information was left blank.
