Fields married second Sabrina Brown (nee Seely). Fields' first wife Lucinda, Sabrina's sister, died in 1865.
The 1900 census521 has Fields' birthdate Nov 1842. Apparently Fields, Bina and family were in the process of moving to Brooklyn in 1910 as they appear in both the Islesboro and Brooklyn censuses within days of each other if the enumeration dates are correct. In 1920, Fields and daughters Alice and Grace are still living on 83d st. Fields, age 79, is widowed and, had he known, would have been greatly surprised at the report of his death802 5 years earlier. A Maine State Archives (transcribed) death card lists his death as Sept 23, 1915, at the age of 72. He is listed as married and a life-long resident of Islesboro, all of which, given the 1920 Brooklyn census, is incorrect. It may be that he died in 1925, perhaps on the same day and month. Fields was a mariner, a ship owner, and a ship builder during his life.
Sabrina and her sister Lucinda are living with her uncle James Veazie in 1860. By 1870, she had been married to Wesley Brown and lost him to the war, was married to Fields Pendleton, and had 2 children. In 1880, she was then the mother of 7 children, all living at home. In 1900, she is listed as the mother of 8 (Phebe was born after the 1880 census), 7 of whom were then living (Nellie had died in 1886.)

The 1900 census521 has Grace's birthdate as Jan 1878.

In 1880, "Phebe" Pendleton, age 2/12, born Apr, is listed in the family of Fields and Sabrina Pendleton. However, Farrow2307 has Effie Pendleton born Apr 13 1880. In the 1900 census521, "Effa B Pendleton," b Apr 1882, is listed in the family, along with Phebe E, born Jan 1884. Children's names as they appear herein seem to be more correct.
