Julian and Maria were married by Pastor George H Samson of the Methodist Church, South Somerset.

Julian died at 215 Winthrop St, in Taunton, MA, of pneumonia, at the age of 50y 1m 6d. At the time of death, he was married and his occupation machinist.

In 1850, Maria Strange, age 6, was enumerated in Taunton in the household of Abishar Perry. In 1860, Maria was living with her parents. In 1876, Maria J Strange married Julian Veazie. In 1880, she was living with her husband and their son Elmer M Veazie. In 1900, Maria's birthdate is listed as Jun 1857. However, other records indicate 1844 is the more likely birthyear. Her full name is assumed from her marriage record in which she is listed as "Maria J," and the 1910 census for Taunton, in which "Judith M" Veazie, age 66, widowed, has in her household Elmer M Veazie. Age 25.
