Carl and Edith were married by Carl's father, Rev Walter C Veazie, and witnessed by Mrs Carrie E Church and Mrs Elva M Veazie. At the time of their marriage, Carl was "of Wallace," Shoshone Co., ID, and Edith was "of Spokane," Spokane Co., WA.

Carl is enumerated as "Carol" in 1900. However, other records lists his full name. In 1885, "Carl Veasey" is age 1. Carl's full name (and title "Rev.") is given on his death²³⁸⁷ certificate. In 1910, a clergyman in the Congregational Church, he was enumerated at the Chicago Theological Seminary. Carl Hewitt Veazie wrote his Bach. Div. thesis on the subject of "The Interpretation of the Book of Jonah" (1910). In 1918, Carl's occupation²²¹ was Minister of the Congregational Church in Wallace, ID. Rev Carl H Veazie is mentioned²⁶⁸² as pastor of the First Congregational church in Tacoma, son of Rev Walter C Veazie, a pioneer of the Congregational church.

Jean graduated from the University of Washington. In 1941, she is listed on the faculty of Everett (WA) Junior College for the areas of botany and zoology. Jean's middle name is listed, among several places, in her death index³³⁹ entry. She died³³⁹ at the age of 73 years. Her social security index entry indicates she registered in Washington before 1951, and her last residence was Brunswick, ME. Various city directories indicate she lived in the Tacoma, WA, area through at least 1950. Did she, perhaps, move to Brunswick, ME, to live near or with her brother Carl, prior to her death?
