In 1900, Jennie Stevens, listed as head of household, resided229 at 8 Wallace Street in Corning, NY, next door to the household of her first husband's father, Jason Stevens. Her four year old daughter, Hazel, resided with her. She is listed as married 6 years, but husband Harry has not been found in that census.
The 1912 obituary5954 of Jennie's father mentions surviving daughter Mrs Jennie Durfee of Penn Yan.
Mrs Jennie Durfey, Elmira, attended the McGowan family reunion6009 in Coopers Plains, 1938.
