Moreland was a railroad station agent for the Pennsylvania Railroad. His obituary lists his birthdate as Feb 21, 1861. The 1900 census lists Feb 1862. That obituary mentions his children Mrs Mildred Belland of Marquette U.P., Professor Maurice Eichelberger of Ann Arbor, and Harold Eichelberger, railroad empolyee of Grand Rapids. At the time of his death, he was married to his second wife, Viola.
The 1930 census for Wyoming, Kent Co., MI lists Moreland's wife as Viola P Eichelberger, and she is mentioned in Moreland's obituary. It is assumed that Addie died before that census.
