Henry's middle initial is listed in the marriage record1523 for his marriage to Nettie Wright.. At the time of that marriage, he was resident in Cedar Springs, MI. His full name is listed in the birth record1455 for his daughter Florence Maude Barkley. Henry's death certificate2579 lists his parents' names, including his mother's maiden name. He died of cancer of the prostate and bladder. The informant was Florence Barkley. Henry was a farmer by trade.

Nettie died1520, married, of confinement, at the age of 31. Her father is listed as Philo Wright, born in New York.

This child is identified from a Mich birth record1455 for Barry Co. for the year ending Dec 31, 1878. As there appears to be no other records for this child, it may be that record and the birth record1455 for Louis Barkley, b March 25, 1879, (Barry Co., for the year ending Dec 31, 1879) are for the same child. As Henry and Nettie, listed as parents in both records, were married in Apr, 1878, it seems unlikely (though certainly not impossible) that Nettie would have borne a child one month after her marriage.
