Winnie and Grover were married by H H Ford, clergyman. Witnesses Simon and Maude (Florence Barkley) Van Huizen, both of Grand Rapids.

Grover's fulll name is listed on his WWI draft registration as well as the marriage record for Grover and Anna Stewart (see below). At the time of his marriage to Winnie, and in 1900, Grover was a barber. In 1917, Grover Cleveland Myers is listed²²¹ as single, with a 4 year old dependant (Morris/Maurice). After Winnie's death, Grover married¹⁵²³ second, Sep 4, 1919, in Cheboygan, MI, Anna L Stewart, the daughter of James Stewart and Margaret Pringle. His deathdate is given on findagrave⁸⁴⁰ without reference.

In 1894 and 1900, Winnie was living with her father and his wife, Florence Barkley. She was then listed as a milliner.

Winnie Myers died²¹⁸⁸ of pulmonary tuberculosis at the age of 32y 11m 27d. Her parents are listed as Henry Barkley (b Mich) and Malacia Collar, b Mich). The informant for her death certificate was Grover Myers.

Child 1. Morris (Maurice)

It is assumed that Morris is the son of Grover Myers and Winnie Barkley as: in 1920, he was enumerated as the grandson²⁶⁷³ of Jacob H and Addie Myers, Grover's parents; in 1940, he was enumerated as the nephew of Louis (Lewis) Barkley, Winnie's brother. In addition, Grover Cleveland Myers' WWI draft registration²²¹ lists Grover as single, but with a 4 yr old dependent. It seems conclusive that a grandson of Jacob Myers who is also the nephew of Lewis Barkley must be the son of Grover Myers and Winnie Barkley.
