N.B., records imply that "Gulliver" was, indeed, Lydia's maiden name. Boston Marriages⁸⁵³ v1:309, "Out-of-Town Marriages," has, in addition to Milton records, that John Gulliver & Lydia Gulliver were married by Mr Peter Thatcher.

Boston Marriages⁸⁵³ has a John Gulliver marrying Margaret Hunt, in Dorchester, Sept 29, 1720. That may indicate that Lydia died prior to that date.
