In 1850, Charles, a clerk, and his father resided²⁸⁷⁰ in the household of James W Andrews in Troy. In 1860, Charles, a clerk, his wife Anna, child Mary, Charles' father Charles, and (likely) Anna's mother Nancy Pearce(sic) resided²⁸⁶⁷ in Troy. In 1870, Charles, Anna and daughter Mary, resided²⁸⁶⁸ in the household of Charles' father. Charles is listed as a real estate agent. In 1875, Charles H Veazie is listed⁴⁶⁹¹ as retired. Residing with him were wife Anna and daughter Mary.

The Troy, NY, city directory¹⁷³⁵ for 1887 lists a Charles H Veazie at "22 Seventh."

Anna A Veazie, "daughter in law," and "my friend Otis G Clark" were named executrix/executor in the will of Charles Veazie (NY Wills and Probate, 1659-1999; www.ancestry.com,) the father of Charles H Veazie. That will, dated Apr 17, 1866, mentioned "son Charles H Veazie and Anna H? his wife," and bequeathed to "son Charles H Veazie my gold watch and chain." Anna A Veazie and Otis G Clark were appointed executors Jul 9, 1872.

Anna's mother is likely Nancy Pierce, b ~1795, Connecticut, with whom she was living in 1850. In 1860, Nancy Pierce, b ~1790, New York, was living in household of Charles and Anna. In 1900, Anna is surely the "Carry H" Veazie, born Feb 1833, widow, with daughter Mary A Veazie, residing⁴⁶⁹³ at 1832 Seventh St., in Troy, NY. In 1905, "Ermina" Veazie and daughter Mary Bradt resided⁴⁶⁹⁵ at 1834 Seventh Ave in Troy, NY. In 1910, Anna A Veazie, with daughter Mary A Bradt, resided⁴⁶⁹² at 1834 Seventh St., in Troy, NY.

Mrs Anna Pierce Veazie, widow of Charles H Veazie, died⁴⁸⁹⁷ Oct 6, 1918, in Troy, NY. She had been a lifelong resident of Troy, and was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. That obituary mentions "A sister, Mary A Bradt, survives," which should read "A daughter, .."
