Harry is listed in 1850 as H P Veazie; in 1880 as Percy Veazie. The New Orleans Death Index2625 lists him as Harry Percy Veazie.

Harry's father, James H Veazie, wrote a letter of recommendation [US Military Academy Cadet Application Papers, File #272-351; fold3.com] for admission of "Harry Percy Veazie" to West Point Academy, Jul 18, 1858, Hampstead (near Natchez) (Mississippi). In that letter, his father stated that Harry was born at "Windsor (near Natchez)" on 23 Feb, 1844. That letter also mentions Harry's uncle, Robert Percy Smith (West Point graduate); and great uncle Major Jacob Brown, who fell at his post among the "firstlings" of the Mexican War.

Harry Percy Veazie, of Baltimore, is listed3083 as an usher at the 1907 wedding, in Washington, DC, of his sister Mary Jane Veazie to Charles E Pal(sic) [Patric].
