The bride was accompanied into the drawing room by her brother Jacob Brown Veazie. The bride was attended by her niece Miss Estelle Bayne Veazie. Hary Percy Veazie, of Baltimore, was an usher.

In 1850, Mary is listed as M J Veazie. Although her birth record2795 lists Mary Jane as born in 1848, other records indicate 1846 or 1847 is more likely - 1850, age 4; 1870, age 23; 1880, age 29.
