At the time of Charles' 1911 marriage to Blanche Page, he was the treasurer for the Jackson Wire Co. That record lists that marriage as the first marriage for both bride and groom. Charles' full name is listed on his 1918 WWI draft registration221 card. That card lists him as foreman of a wire mill, employed by Laidlaw Bale Tie Co., Hamilton, Ontario. In 1930, Charles and Blanche resided in Blue Island, IL, were he was superintendent for a wire company.

In 1940, Blanche E Jackson, daughter of Hannah V Page, resided with Hannah and sister Marion P. She is listed as hostess at a department store. Her marriage status isn't clear, but may be the digit "7."
