Married⁸⁴⁰. The gravestone inscription⁸⁴⁰ for Clara Veazie states she was the wife of Edwin P Hutchinson.

Clara's death index¹⁶³⁰ entry states her parents were Jason and Phoebe Veazie.

Following her father's death, Clara and her mother resided with Jason's brother Laban, in Elmira (1865 census³³²⁶ and 1870 census³²⁴.)

In 1865, Clara, residing³³²⁶ (enumerated June 16) in the household of her uncle, Laban Veazie, is listed as age 2 4/12. Following her uncle Laban's death (Dec 24, 1877), George Mosher was appointed guardian⁵²⁷⁷ to Clara E Veazie, a minor "of Elmira," by the Surrogate Court of Chemung County, Dec 31, 1877. \tab
