Farrow395 lists a gravestone for Otis C. Veazie in a cemetery "on the east side, upper end" of the island of Islesboro. Farrow lists his birthdate as July 11, 1820 and deathdate as July 4, 1848, and July 24, 1848, aged 28 years.

In 1850, after Otis Veazie's death, Deborah Veazie is living with sons Samuel, Otis and Marcellus in Islesboro.
