Farrow398 has William's birthdate as Apr 1, 1829. Hillman800 has Apr 29 1824, apparently a typo, as he references Groves5443, p 2, which has "Aprel 12th 1824." Bangor Hist Mag388 has Apr 12, 1824. His death record2489 has his age at death as 72y 3m 16d, indicating a birthdate of 23 Mar 1822. Census records and William's civil war draft registration3290 indicate ~1822. Graves5443 is preferred.
