Married²⁸⁹¹ 1862 Dec 18²⁸⁹¹ at Quincy, MA²⁸⁹¹. Emeline and Edward were married by Rev John D Wells, Pastor, First Cong Ch, Quincy.

Sprague⁸⁴¹ provides Edward's middle name. Sprague has that Edward and Emeline (Crane) had no issue. In 1870, Edward and wife Emeline (nee Crane) had residing with them Edward's brother Harrison Adams and his wife Ellen (nee Crane), Emeline's sister.

Emeline died³²⁷¹ at the age of 59y 2m 27d of heart failure (valvular disease).
