Married²⁹⁵³ 1940 bef²⁹⁵³. The 1940 census²⁹³² lists Nathan as head of household at 30 Whitney Rd, where Nathan had resided since (at least) 1900. Beatrice Ames, age 55, is listed as his wife. In 1942 and 1945, Nathan and Beatrice resided¹⁷³⁵ at the same address. Following Nathan's death, Beatrice, "wid Nathan," resided¹⁷³⁵ there in 1951.

The marriage record⁴⁰⁰⁹ for Nathan and Carrie (Adams) lists his occupation as "engineer." In 1900, Nathan was⁷⁸⁰ a proprietor of a plumbing business. In 1910, he was a retail hardware clerk. In 1920, his occupation was still retail hardware. In 1930, at the age of 60, and widowed, his occupation is listed as "none."

Beatrice may be the "Mrs Beatrice Ames" that resided¹⁷³⁵ on Warren ave in Brockton, MA, in 1955. The Mass Death Index⁷⁹⁶ lists: Beatrice Ames, d 1959, Brockton, MA. Age or birthdates are not provided in that reference.
