Marjorie's sister Beatrice (Mrs Raymond Lillie, was her matron of honor. Raymond Lillie was Howard's Best Man. Marjorie's cousin, Clayton Sawyer, was an usher. In the 1930 census3291, in the household of Will and Mildred Sprague, Howard is listed as son-in-law to Will Sprague; Marjorie is listed as daughter. Both Howard and Marjorie are listed as married 10 years.

Howard's WWI draft registration221 provides his birthdate and birthplace. N.B., the birthplace noted in that record is the same as his sister Emma, with whom he appears in the household786 of John and Margaret Steele in 1910. At the time of his marriage4156 to Marjorie Sprague, Howard was a graduate of Dartmouth College and a civil engineer. In 1930, Howard is listed as a commercial traveler for an insulator company. In 1940, Howard was a lawyer in a private practice.

Marjorie's middle name is listed1767 in her birth record, though, on her 1920 passport application645, she lists her middle name as Emmanette. On that application, Raymond W Lillie (her borther-in-law, husband of her sister Beatrice) was the person who identified her, having known her for 20 years. Her wedding announcement4156 mentions that Marjorie was a graduate of the National Park Seminary, Washington, D. C.
