She was on the honor roll and planned to attend the University of Kansas, to study home economics. That article mentions that she was born in Bozeman, Mont., and lived in Salt Lake City for five years before moving to Lincoln. In May, 1967, a list of scholarships and awards for Northeast High School seniors in the Lincoln (NE) Evening Journal mentions Gail Leisher "NWU Scholarship." [Neb Wesleyan Univ?]
