Carl L Veazie enlisted¹⁷⁰ in the U. S. Army, Dec 27, 1943, at Boston, MA. The Lowell (MA) Sun, May 2, 1954, reports that a daughter was born April 23 at the Emerson Hospital (Concord) to Mr and Mrs Carl Veazie of Smart road. The Lowell (MA) Sun, Feb 10, 1956, mentions that Carl and Frank Veazie, local boat merchants, were among local folks attending the week-long boat show at Boston. The same publication, Jan 18, 1966, reports that a new Kiwanis Club was formed in Concord and Carl L Veazie was on the board of directors. Carl L Veazie is mentioned in several articles connected with activities of the Kiwanis club in Condord in the 1950s and 1960s.

The 1930 census⁴³²¹, enumerated Apr 21, lists Norma, daughter of Frank J and Elsie C Battles as age 3 months, which matches her social security death index entry.
