The 1940 census2760 for Washington, DC, lists Melvin Schoephoester, born ~1911, Wisconsin, and wife Marion, born ~1917, Illinois. From her last name, birth date and place, it is assumed she was Marion Bryden. The date of their marriage is a guess based on the census date.
