Married4521 1852 Jun 312891 at Quincy, MA2891. An 1865 affidavit4521 by Sarah's uncle Thomas P G Hardwick states that Sarah was the wife of John A Preston of Dorchester. Sarah and John were married by Rev Wm. P. Lunt, Minister of the First Congregational Church, Quincy.
In 1850, John resided4522 with his parents.
John was a chocolate maker.
In an 1865 affidavit4521, Sarah's uncle Thomas P G Hardwick states that Sarah (daughter of Elizabeth Hardwick and Samuel White) was the wife of John A Preston of Dorchester [Mass.].
About 1867, Sarah V Preston received4509 1/420 ($64.86) of the estate of Joseph Veazie.
Sarah died855 June 23, 1897, in Hyde Park, MA, of cancer, at the age of 64y 8m.
