Milo Noble SMITH b. 1875 Jul 21455 at Fenton, MI1455. d. 1958 Aug 294530 at Ransomville General Hospital, Ransomville, NY4530. bd. Lakeview Cem., Newfane, NY4530.
Elizabeth A (Lizzie) MICHAELS b. 1877~4555 at New York4555. d. 1944 Sep 84532 at at her home, Washington St, Olcott, NY4532. bd. Lake View Cemetery, Olcott, NY4532.

Married4555 1899~. In 1910, Milo and Elizabeth are listed4555 as married 11 years.

It's not clear whether Milo was born in New York state or Michigan. His obituary4530 says he was born July 1, 1875, in Hartland. The informant for that information isn't indicated. However, an image of the return of births1455 in Genesee county, MI, clearly lists Milo Smith, born July 2, 1875, in Fenton, Michigan, parents Benjamin W and "Rosilla" Smith, father's occupation "painter" (as other records indicate for Benjamin). Benjamin, Rosalie, and family resided4499 in Fenton, MI, in 1880. The Michigan birth record is preferred for Milo's birthdate and birthplace, although it flies in the face of other records.

Milo's middle name is given on his WWI draft registration221 card. Milo resided4499 4496 with his parents in 1880 and 1892. In 1892, his occupation was farming. In 1905, he is listed as a painter. In 1910, he was a cooper at a cooper shop. In 1918, Milo lived221 in Olcott, NY; his wife Elizabeth was his nearest relative; and he was a cooper, working for Richard S Mathews in Olcott.

Lizzie died4533 Friday, Sept 8, 1944, at home as a result of a heart attack she had suffered the previous night. She was survived by her husband Milo N Smith, daughter Mrs Robert Meyers, son Clayton B Smith, a brother Frank Michaels, and sisters Mrs D C Miller and Mrs William Malcom.

At the time of her death, she had been a resident of Olcott for 45 years, having lived in Ridgewood for many years before that.
