The marriage license application²⁰⁷² for Leland and Isabella lists his birthdate as Feb 13, 1898. However, he does not appear with his parents in the 1900 census³¹⁸¹, and other records indicate 1901 is the correct year of his birth. In 1920, Leland resided with his parents, and was a bank clerk.
