Married1865 1894 Dec 184711 at Rome, NY4711. The obituaries for both Charles T and Nellie M (Austin) Hayden mention surviving daughter Mrs Lyle N Flack. In 1900, Minnie A Flack appears1865 in Rome, NY, as the wife of Lyle N Flack. It is assumed he is the same Lyle Flack mentioned in those obituaries. Their marriage date is assumed from information in that 1900 census: Minnie is listed married 4 years; son Gerald was born Feb 1896. Lyle's obituary4711 provides the date and place of his marriage to Miss Minnie Hayden.
Lyle was educated in the Rome schools and was then employed by the Farmers' National Bank as a messenger. He continued working for the bank until he retired from a position as a note teller in January, 1945, having worked at the bank for 57 years.
Lyle died at home at the age of 80, after a long illness. He was a member of the Zion Episcopal Church.
