The article relates that a new law firm, Abbott & Grow, was formed with partners Walter W Abbott, former mayor and city judge, and George B Grow, former FBI special agent. George was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and received an A. B. from St. Lawrence University in 1937. In 1940 he graduated Cum Laude from Albany Law School, with an L.L.B; he was salutatorian and vice-president of the graduating class. He was admitted to the bar in October, 1940, and was associated with former Supreme Court Justice Michael J Larkin. In the spring of 1942, he became a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation but resigned later to resume private practice. That article mentions wife Doris Herrman Grow and son David. They resided at 305 W Locust St., Rome, NY.
