Samuel and Ann were married by Claude E Hixson of Manassas, VA, likely a Justice of the Peace, as his authorization was "of the Circuit Court of Pr. Wm. Co." Samuel's parents are listed as Alfred E Eaton and Charlotte F "Vizza"(sic). Ann's parents are listed as Gabriel Woodyard and Anna Kyzmiak, "dec'd." The certificate lists the "proposed" place of marriage as Manassas, Va., but the place of marriage is not explicitly stated.

At the time of his 1957 marriage⁴¹⁴⁴, Samuel worked at a paper mill. In 1962, Samuel was a consctruction worker¹⁷³⁵. The Bridgeport (CT) Post, Fri, Nov 23, 1962 (newspapers.com), reported that Samuel J Easton, 27, of Waterford, died in that town when the motorcycle he was riding veered into the guard rail on Route 37.
