The obituary⁴⁹¹⁷ for Mrs Polly Hayden states she was the wife of Orange Hayden. The obituary⁴⁴⁰⁶ of Mrs Lydia Ann Veazie states she was the daughter of Orange Hayden, survived by sisters Mrs Mary White and Mrs Bethilda White, both of Western, NY. The obituary⁴⁹²⁰ of Mrs Mary E White states she was the daughter of Orange and Polly Hayden; Mary was the last deceased of that family.

Orange Hayden married first⁴⁹¹⁷ Polly (unknown). Polly died Aug 31, 1849. Following Polly's death, Orange married Lydia (nee Boutelle) Tredway, widow of John Tredway. Orange Hayden fought⁵⁴⁶⁴ in the War of 1812.

An unsourced manuscript⁵⁴⁵² (p 7) has Polly Adsit, b 1792, dau of Ebenezer Adsit and Betsey Alger. On p 16, Polly Adsit md --- Hayden, died in Oneida county, New York, 1849. Children listed are: Lydia A., m. --- Veazie; Harriet, m. --- Fraser; Mary S., b 1818, m. --- White; and Bathilda, b 1818, m. --- White.

Mrs Polly Hayden, wife of Orange Hayden, died⁴⁹¹⁷ Aug 31, 1849, at the age of 56y 11m 15d. Her birthdate is calculated from that information.
