The biography¹⁰⁵⁹ of Hollis Houghton (published 1914) mentions that son Harvey was a farmer and stock dealer of Sturgis, Saskatchewan, Canada.

In 1905, H B Houghton, Clary Houghton, and Hollis Houghton resided⁵⁰⁶³ in Polk, IA - Post Office address: Plainfield.

Harvey and Clara Houghton resided in Saskatchewan in 1916. Clara is listed as born ~1885. A findagrave.com entry (memorial #1788001819, no references) has simply "Husband of Clara A."

Harvey B Houghton died⁵⁰⁶² in Dauphin, Manitoba, Dec 15, 1918, age 35 years.

Clara's middle name appears in the death certificate⁵⁰⁷⁰ for son Hollis Charles Houghton. That certificate also lists Clara's birithplace as Wisconsin.

The 1939 obituary⁵⁰⁷⁴ for son Hollis mentions his surviving mother, Mrs V W Hollingsworth, of Ogden (UT).
