The obituary(\super 5100} for Lula (Bertch) Kirschstin lists Lula's parents' names, including her mother's maiden name, and mentions surviving sister Mrs Ida Houghton of Waterloo, IA. In the 1900 census⁵¹⁰¹, Isaac and Mary are listed as married 28 years. Residing with them, among several children, were Ida E, daughter, born May 1893, and Lula G, daughter, born Jul 1898.
